2. Vietnamese Premium Long Grain White Rice
2.1/ OM4900: Vietnam Long grain white rice 5% broken
Description:
- OM4900 rice, which is bred from the famous Jasmine 85 rice, has the same characteristics as the parent rice, but OM4900 rice has better salt tolerance, pest resistance and high yield.
- OM4900 rice, developed in the Mekong Delta, is a pure rice variety that retains the characteristics of Jasmin 85 and Lemont C53 high-yielding, fragrant, and industrial rice varieties. The 100-day rice variety (more than 3 months) cultivated is of high economic value, yielding 5-7 Tons/ ha. The Mekong Delta from Long An, Tien Giang, Can Tho and Dong Thap is home to many OM4900 rice varieties.

Description:
- DT 8 is a high-quality pure rice variety has been studied and crossbred from BVN and OM4900 variety by the Vietnam Plant Seed Group (Vinaseed), which is currently the major rice variety in the Mekong Delta rice bowl as well as the South Central Coast and the Central Highlands. 2.1 Red Rice
Description:
- Vietnamese Red Rice is a variety of non-glutinous long-grain rice, related to brown rice, in that it is simple rice, merely the color of the fiber is purple, maroon or red.
- The whole red rice grains which are nurtured by the dedicated and experienced farmers, hot tropical climate, fertile flood plain and pure nourishing water in the land of Mekong Delta. Only the shells of the rice grains are detached through the milling procedure, recalling all the vitamins, nutrients and minerals entire in the bran cover and in the kernel. Our Red Rice is a great source of nutritious values, rich fiber and antioxidants for health.
- Red Rice takes time-consuming to cook than normal white rice, but not so long as the brown rice takes. Whenever red rice is cooked, the natural red colorization within the bran, or hull of the rice, leaches out and dyes the rest of the dish red to pink. Red rice has lots of fiber, due to the bran, and flavor is significantly more powerful compared to hulled rice, it has a nutty taste and more gratifying flavor.
